My toddler is throwing a tantrum and my husband too
My almost three year old is at the store and wanted a toy. She’s holding on to it for an hour. My husband is getting tired, told her there’s no money and the line is so long, and decided it’s time to go. The toddler would not let it go. They called me while I’m at work. We were on FaceTime as I saw my toddler kick, cry and scream in the stroller for “toooy toy toy”. My husband is losing his wits and yelled at our baby repeatedly, threatening they’re not going out like this anymore, ever.
I got pissed because he can’t regulate himself. How can he expect the kid to calm down of a meltdown if he’s matching it with one? He’s the adult! I hung up the video call because all I hear is both crying and screaming from both of them.
Venting or asking for advice for both the toddler and the dad. Thanks.
