I’ve been curious about the market and structural requirements, especially of green burials with untreated wood.
I’d assume you’d need a sizable amount of completed inventory in stock, as the turnaround is a quick.
I’d imagine the market is dominated by mass production players who are partnered with funeral homes, but I know that in my state, funeral companies cannot refuse or up-charge for an independently acquired coffin.
It’s been a recurring idea, as I build dining tables and cabinets and have always found it strange that the end of life subject is so taboo.
