I painted this Buddha using a deliberately limited colour palette.
I recently finished this acrylic painting, *Illuminated Within*. Over the years I've found myself using fewer colours and focusing more on drawing, values, and form. This piece was painted primarily with scarlet lake, yellow, and burnt sienna to create a warm, earthy feeling. I wanted the Buddha to feel quietly present rather than dramatically illuminated.
