Why are Kreg square drive bits manufactured from soft cheese?
Had to run out and buy a replacement driver bit in the middle of a pocket-hole project because the original rounded over. Now the replacement driver bit is already feeling dicey after just a few dozen screws.
Is there a “buy once, cry once” #2 square-drive bit from another brand? Or can I switch to pocket-hole-compatible star-drive screws?
