So I built a 3D-printed electric Generator into my bike

This was for a school project in physics class.
Bought a Bambu A1 and learned Fusion360.

I took my old bike and removed the rear wheel. Then I printed out the rotor and stator in multiple parts out of PETG and glued them together (beige and gray). The more critical parts are even from PETG-CF (red).

There are cutouts for 27 Neodyme Magnets and 36 Spools. The spools are also 3D-printed and then the copper coil was winded by hand. Then I soldered each spool in three phases together.

One end of each phase went into a star point and the other ends went into two bridge rectifier. I connected each plus and minus together, so I got one plus and minus output each.

Those went into an electrolyte-condensator and then into a DC-DC Stepdown Converter with a USB-A port.

I wish I could attach a second video where a phone actually charges.

I reach peak voltages of 36V.
