Real talk, what supplies do I need to cover up a hole where a toilet used to be?
This is probably a stupid question but I’m going to ask anyway. My husband and I bought a house a few months ago and we have an extra half bath we’re wanting to take the toilet out of. It doesn’t have ventilation and it’s between the dining room and living room, so we don’t use it and would really like additional storage. We’re planning to take just the toilet out. What do I need to get to cover that drain hole? Everything I’ve searched has primarily been temporary fixes. This will be permanent. We’re going to Lowe’s in a little bit and I want to be prepared. It doesn’t have to be attractive, just needs to work. We’re not planning on removing the flooring in there at this time but may do so if we ever decide to get new flooring.
