Stubai High Trail
Me and 3 friends are planning to do this trail in mid August. We all have experience in our lock mountains (Mourne mountains) and will be going on many multi day camps here as preparation.
Our planned route is
Day 1. Hike to Franz-senne hutte
Day 2. Hike to **Neue Regensburger Hütte**
**Day 3. Hike to Dresdner Hütte**
**Day 4. Rest day at Dresdner Hütte**
**Day 5. Hike to Sulzenauhütte**
**Day 6. Descend to valley**
**Is this route safe/doable or would it be considered dangerous?**
**What’s the weather like at this time of year?**
**Would this kit be suitable (I know I need more but these are the things I’m buying specifically as my old stuff isn’t suitable:**
**Mh500 rucksack 38l**
**Mh500 waterproof jacket**
**(Please recommend boots to buy)**
**We will have all the other kit like clothes, maps, first aid kits, sun protection already**
