I've lived practically my entire life in the El Pensil neighborhood, a suburb of the small city of Puerto La Cruz, in eastern Venezuela 🇻🇪
Always in this neighborhood. My parents' families are from the same town, but they migrated to my neighborhood in the 1960s. I was born and raised here, spending my early years in a small house and later in the apartment where I currently live (my parents' apartment).
When I graduated from university, I moved and lived for two years in an apartment in the city center, about a 20-minute walk from my neighborhood. But then a bad streak hit me: I broke my leg, had surgery, lost my girlfriend and my job, sold my car, and had no choice but to return to my parents' apartment.
