An objectively bad opinion but, The lego games would be better if they were not lego
I love lego games for the unlockable character system, they always have so many characters, the easy puzzles which are just mindless fun, the character creator, collectavles (especially the red bricks) being able to destroy stuff and collecting studs off the ground, but what I never liked since I was a kid was the fact that it's lego, like sure there is simple build mechanics to it and it'd be easier to create characters for the game but I would honestly prefer like an action figure baseplate for them instead of lego body because lego minifigs just don't look good imo
