Found evidence of mice in garage, best approach before they get inside?
Was organizing the garage yesterday and found mouse droppings near where we keep the birdseed. Nothing in the house yet but I'm trying to be proactive before they find their way inside.
Garage is attached to the house so I'm worried they'll eventually get in through the door or find a gap somewhere. Already moved the birdseed into a sealed metal container and cleaned up all the droppings I could find.
My wife wants to just put out traps but I'm thinking we should try to make the garage less appealing to them first? Like maybe there's a way to repel them before we have to deal with dead mice in traps. Anyone dealt with this before, what worked for you?
