I’m Extremely Forgetful and I’m Not Sure Why
I’m not really sure if I remember things based on how important they are. For example, I got a warning about something a little while back, and I barely remember it now. It wasn’t written down anywhere, so maybe that’s part of why I forgot, but I still feel like I should’ve remembered it because it came from my friend.
That’s what confuses me. It’s not like I didn’t care about what they said, but somehow it just didn’t stick in my head. Sometimes it feels like unless something gets repeated a lot, written down, or there’s a strong consequence attached to it, I can forget it pretty easily.
So I don’t really know if it’s because I’m not taking things seriously enough in the moment, or if my memory just doesn’t hold onto certain things very well unless there’s something that makes it stand out.
