Looking for feedback on the below itinerary for two travelers in our early 30s. This is our first time in New York City.
Thursday: Fly in and arrive in Newark at 8:00am. Get to the hotel to drop off bags. Spend the day walking around the neighborhood (Grand Central Station, NY Public Library, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square). Mainly just walking - will stop to snack where appropriate.
Friday: Empire State Building in the morning. During the early afternoon, Brooklyn Bridge (walk to Brooklyn). Then hang out by Dumbo.
Saturday: Museum of Natural History and then spend the afternoon in Central Park
Sunday: Washington Square Park, Greenwich Village during AM. Then One World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial during afternoon.
Monday: Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island. Evening at SOHO
Tuesday: MOMA during the morning. During the afternoon, do whatever we want (maybe spend some more time in Central Park, maybe explore another neighborhood and grab dinner).
Wednesday: do some last minute shopping and then fly home during the evening. #travel
