i'm getting my second bachelor's degree at 32 in a small program (compared to my first degree which was huge), and i want to be involved with the professors this time. my first time around, i never spoke to a single professor or classmate.
in my current class, i'm the only student in the major and not just there for a gen ed. but a lot of the gen ed students go up and chat with the prof when class ends. i don't get the impression they're asking questions about the classwork. i feel like i should be getting in there more than anyone since it's my major!
i also work in academia, so i'm talking to professors all day. i know they're just regular people. but being surrounded by hyper-confident 19-year-olds is really cramping my style lol
what are they talking to the prof about? how to i become someone who casually talks to the professor like that? #relationships source
