The theatrical version of Blade Runner with Harrison Ford’s narration gets way, way too much hate.
My opinion is that Harrison Ford sounds like he’s narrating as a beat cop off his shift who’s exhausted. Sure, he might have said off camera that he sandbagged the performance but I liked it and I like the version. I feel like extended cuts were made after every movie needed an ending reveal or something. All in all, the theatrical cut gets too much hate.
As an unrelated note, the ending of The Iron Giant cheapened the giants sacrifice and really bugged me even as a kid.
