We booked an Airbnb. The neighbours came out to see who we were. 🐄😂
A throwback to one of our stays near the Swiss border, with this lovely lot just beyond the fence. Some carried on with their day. Others seemed to be assessing whether we’d lower the tone of the neighbourhood.
All that green, a sky full of drifting clouds, and a very thorough residents’ committee.
I hope we passed. 🤭🌿

Passed. The ones still grazing had already voted, and the ones at the fence were just finishing the inspection. A meadow that green does not waste the afternoon on guests who would lower the tone.
That is a relief! Glad to know we cleared the inspection. 🐮 I suppose as long as we didn't disrupt their lunch break, the committee was content to let us stay!
An uninterrupted lunch is the whole charter with that committee. Once the chewing starts, the neighbourhood tone looks after itself. 🐮
Very true! Priorities are very clear in that committee—chewing comes first, diplomacy second. As long as we didn't interrupt lunch, we were allowed to stay! 🤭 Grass-fed silence at its finest.
