Trading today’s grey Sunday skies in Northern Portugal for a little mental sunshine. 🌧️➡️☀️ Throwing it back to the Summer of 2022 in Ornans, France. While the hubby and his 'team' (including our boys!) were busy with a project, I was soaking in views like this historic beauty on the banks of the Loue River. The architecture here has stood the test of time.

It was a chilly day in Shangri-La, around 1°C — super cool and refreshing! Thankfully, our hotel had a bed warmer to keep us cozy through the cold night. We explored the charming Dukezong Ancient Town, with its old Tibetan-style houses and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Then we visited the Shangri-La Mandala, a peaceful place filled with vibrant colors and spiritual symbols. Finally, we stopped by the wide Yila Grassland, where the golden fields stretched endlessly under the blue sky — truly a breathtaking sight!

Time flies! My 11-day trip to Yunnan has come to an end. It’s time to get back to routine life in my home country. This holiday was filled with wonderful memories, and I hope to explore more beautiful places in China again soon.
