How do I tailor my resume for a complete career shift?
Hi I’m currently looking to fully shift careers, I currently handle accounting, and have a handful of clerical experience, I’ve only had office jobs.
I’m trying to work in an animal shelter but I keep getting rejected. Is there anything I can do to my resume to help? I don’t want to post it or share it (which I know would help) but I have all my years of clerical, receptionists, and accounting listed. It feels weird applying to work with dogs when my resume is geared towards office work.
Any tips would really help me out, thanks!
