Help!! Can’t remember childhood graphic novel!!
UPDATE: SOLVED!!!!!!
I did a LOTTTT more digging now that I had time! The novel is called Knights of the Lunch Table: The Dragon Players by Frank Cammuso! It was released in 2008 just like Amulet! Turns out it wasnt that fantasy related as I thought but was more so nerdy haha. The main character was also a ginger and not really blonde, whoops! This specific book is why I remembered a dragon because they build a dragon robot!
I hope this is a good thread to ask 😭 When I was a kid I remember picking out this graphic novel from school and LOVING it, but now that i’m older i cannot remember for the life of me besides a few (unfortunately) vague details and i’m afraid that if its niche I won’t be able to read it again 😭💔 Please help!!
What I remember:
\* It was possibly made in the era of when Amulet was popular or just starting out? I debating on choosing Amulet or the graphic novel, and decided on the graphic novel.
\* I believe the main character was blonde. He was a young kid and I believe had two other male friends.
\* I remember one scene the mc was seeing a red dragon? Either imagination or reality i cannot remember. I think this book also had some fantasy/magic elements to it. I believe the mc lived in a normal world, but there was a magic aspect? I’m not for sure ugh 😭
I cant think of anything else but if you have any questions PLEASE ask and i’ll do my best to remember. I’ve been researching so much but always get the wrong books. Thank you guys!
