Usual hockey watching buddy didn't invite me to watch the last couple playoff games
I have a friend that is a fan of the same NHL team as me and we have been watching the games together one on one over voice chat. When our team didn't make the playoffs, he suggested we watch minor league hockey. After the minor league team didn't make the playoffs, I suggested watching other NHL teams in the playoffs. He said he wasn't that interested but might watch some of the games in the later rounds. He sent me a happy memorial day text yesterday. I noticed last night that he was streaming last nights playoff game in our group gaming chat. After seeing that I texted him and we had this exchange:
Me: Hey, I just noticed you watching the game. I might have watched if I had known. Was it just spontaneous?
Him: i streamed the series ending buffalo game and then they kept asking me when the next game was. we can watch the vegas game tomorrow if you want
Me: Yeah I'm down for tomorrow. We're you thinking group or just us?
Him: just us, I think they are only watching because its montreal
Me: ok, sounds like a plan.
I'm not sure why he didn't let me know they were watching. The only thing I can think of is that I hadn't been in the group chat for 5 months. I told him a while back that I was feeling burnt out on the group and was taking a break. I might have still watched a few games with them. Should I bring this up with him? I'm feeling kind of let down that he didn't ask me after I expressed interest in watching playoff games.
