Why YSK: there are far fewer ads and it’s super helpful!
If you’re watching YouTube on an iOS, download the chrome app and head to YouTube.com N THE BROWSER. enter the website directly into the address bar as this is the only way to not get sent directly to the app.
Find a YouTube video you want to watch and open it in fullscreen. Once the video is playing, hit the home button/swipe up to get to your Home Screen.
Please let me know if this works for other web browsers (Safari, Firefox, etc.), I haven’t tested them.
