What are some guidelines for buying used digital pianos?
Hi all, trying to get a used digital piano on a budget. I hope this question is allowed as I am not asking about a specific model but in general. What things should I watch out for when buying a digital piano of considerable age, other than going for weighted keys of course? I am looking at a Roland KR-575 that someone is selling locally for $315 CAD for example, and this piano is over 20 years old. Is there any sensor wear I need to be aware of or anything else? How do I know if the price is fair? I saw someone post online that no one should buy a 20-year old digital piano. I don't have much money to spend and when I spent $100 on a Yamaha YPF-525 recently the screen ended up not working and it makes it harder to use some of the features and it is a hard thing to repair. Thanks in advance.
