andIPhotographing Dragon flying across the Milky Way
SpaceX Dragon flies between the stars of deep space, and a sea of clouds over the Pacific Ocean softly illuminated by the red upper atmospheric airglow (the f-region at 630nm due to atomic oxygen). Shortly before sunrise, the Milky Way pops in the background, and a few satellites streak across the exposure at the far right horizon. Taken on Expedition 72 to the ISS with Nikon Z9, Sigma 14mm f1.4 lens, 30 seconds, f1.4, SO 6400, using my home made orbital sidereal tracker at 0.064 egrees per second (stars are points but Dragon is blurred), adjusted in Photoshop, levels, contrast, color.
