China and Philippines r enemy at the moment because of the West Philippine Sea issues..well under the International Rules on the Sea, the sea is yours within 200 Nautical miles from the base line of your land/geographycal area of the Philippines, so by that point it's ours.
However, accordingly, the West Philippine Sea, was part of the China Sea, ..Why,,, because apparently the Chinese , during their expeditions for merchant and trading activities way back 100yrs ago, are using the sea to cross-over the island of the Philippines, and they have discovered first the said border going to us. Which is called the 9 dash lines.. and the previous administration by Gentleman's agreement has awarded some of the island to the China. In returned the Chinese finances billion's of Road projects from the Philippines, so some of our roads was with the help of the Chinese Government.
But since there is a changed in the administration, some of the mutual agreement entered by the previous administration has become ineffective.
But on some instances, for the benefit of the general welfare of the people, the trading of foods, like rice and fruits and other merchandise from China are still on going. And this is because of the truce that was made by both parties due diplomatic relationship. "We may be enemy on some issues, but we preserved friendship over the welfare of the people".
