Good morning my awesome friends! Happy Friday! ☀️
Today was supposed to be a quiet day at home, but life had other ideas. I just got a call from social work and now I’m heading out.
Me: “Good morning!”
Social Work: “Good morning, we need you.”
Me: “Ah, the universe has spoken.”
On the way I start thinking.
Kindness: “Good morning everyone!”
Truth: “Morning. I’m here too.”
Discrimination: “Wait, who invited you two?”
Kindness: “Relax, there’s room for everyone.”
Truth: “Yes, but I might make things a little uncomfortable.”
Discrimination: “I prefer judging people without facts.”
Kindness: “Maybe try listening first?”
Truth: “And maybe accept people as they are?”
Meanwhile I’m walking along thinking, if more people invited kindness and truth to the table, discrimination would probably get bored and leave the conversation.
Anyway, off I go to start the day. Wishing you all a beautiful Friday! Let’s keep kindness loud and discrimination very, very quiet. 😄✨Catch you soon my fabulous friends! 🤩
