I'm ashamed to admit it is taking me way too long to realize how important good soil is. We've been struggling with specific plants in our garden and just this year we realized it was the low quality soil that we've been buying.
This is just a two week difference on a basil plant I started from seed. The biggest difference is I switched the soil over to Miracle-Gro potting soil and we started adding fish bone meal to the plants.
The fishbone meal is high in nitrogen which I know now is great for producing leafy greens. What would you recommend for plants that fruit?
We grow a lot of peppers we're trying to learn how to grow tomatoes and beans. What soil or fertilizer or nutrient should we focus on? #activity
