Three Watch Collection
Long time lurker, second time poster. I asked for recommendations a few weeks back, and I stuck with my gut and added the GS SBGM221 GMT to my watch collection. Thanks for all the suggestions!
The vintage Rolex Submariner 16800 circa 1980s was given to me as a gift when I graduated Optometry school. I had it on my wrist the day I proposed to my wife, the day I was married, the day my daughter was born, etc. It has priceless sentimental value to me.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra was a gift when I became a dad. I think the sunburst etched, ship-lap inspired dial is so eye catching. This and the Rolex share equal wrist time.
The Grand Seiko was the first nice watch I purchased for myself. I wanted to commemorate a few important milestones in my life that happened all around the same time. I first saw this piece on a YouTube video and kept coming back to it. You could spend hours staring at the Zaratsu polished indexes (and I have).
I think I’ll stick with these three for quite a while. The next logical addition would be some sort of chronograph… thanks for letting me share!
