Client states they want this shelf a bit darker and is concerned about it looking unfinished
Im using repurposed Doug fir and I was sure she would be into the finished product however, after sending this pic she said she’d like it a bit darker and is concerned that it may look “unfinished” because of the nail holes and other imperfections in the wood grain contrast. I told her that the wood would be repurposed but I have a feeling she didn’t quite understand what that meant.
I used natural danish oil. Do you guys think another cost will make much of a difference if I put another cost on it? My thought is that it won’t do much good and as far as contrast goes, unless I paint it, it’s not gonna look much different
