#earn #probeggarversusantibeggar #empowerpeople I stand on the side of being anti-beggar, but strongly pro-humanity. Helping people in need is important, but I believe the way we help matters more than the act itself. When we support people who are trying to earn through small effortsâlike selling food or simple itemsâwe are encouraging dignity, independence, and growth.
Begging, on the other hand, often keeps people stuck in a cycle of dependency. While it may seem like an immediate act of kindness to give alms, it can unintentionally promote a system where people rely on sympathy instead of opportunities. Over time, this can increase the number of people who choose or are forced into begging as a survival method.
Instead of giving money to beggars, I believe we should focus on empowering themâby offering food, jobs, skills, or support that helps them stand on their own. Real change comes when we help people become self-reliant, not when we unknowingly contribute to a cycle that keeps them dependent.
