How do I know when concrete dust in home is really cleaned?
Working on the bathroom floor - yes, I now know I should have used water, I guess with my angle grinder - and blew some concrete dust in the bathroom and a bit in the adjoining bedroom. My husband, while using our shop vac (and its clogged filter) blew said dust all over our bedroom. I did a deep clean of the bedroom: new shop vac with filter and bag, vacuumed up what I could, used a stiffer wet on the ceiling and walls, cleaned the ceiling fan, washed all of the bed linens, used my vacuum with hepa filter to vacuum the rug…wiped everything down twice. Opened windows. The dust stayed in the bedroom and bath. (There is no air intake in the bathroom, just output and a window. So my question is…are we good? I used my n100 - which unfortunately leaked - so I’m pretty ticked off about my whole experience. I hate using the angle grinder for this reason, but…it was needed. Ugh. Do I need to toss my rug? I’m just not sure and don’t want to risk health issues. Thanks! #home source
