Howdy, I've been putting off upgrading my RTX 2070 for some time, as other life stuff needed my money, unfortunately, like rent. I haven't been playing many new AAA releases as the years go by, its been mainly the odd one or two like Claire Obscure and Avowed last year (and mainly sticking to FFXIV when I don't have the energy after work). But now that I'm eyeing 007 First Light and looking at the minimum requirements, I'd figure it's really time for an upgrade. I haven't been keeping up to date on the GPU releases post-Covid so I'm very lost.
Below are my specs:
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X * RAM: 32 GB * Monitor: 1440p (It's an old 4k monitor, but honestly, I never bother to play games in 4k, I just like a big screen)
Just out of principle, I am thinking about doing the switch to AMD Radeon, as I never really bothered with Ray Tracing (I just want my games to run smoothly).
As for budget, I am looking at €200 - €300, and I know it's a long shot with the way pc parts are going right now, but I got bills to pay in the meantime. I could possibly bump that up to €400 - €450 if I'm gonna wait a little longer.
I'm based in Ireland, and I would love some recommendations from places within the EU (getting parts from the UK can be iffy if they won't add the import tax into the cost).
