Upstate NY, Fall foliage trip in October suggestion
Hey guys!! I want to ask for some suggestions on where to go for fall foliage trip on the second weekend of October (10,11,12). Me and my friends want to find a place to stay chilling (go around the town) and also has good hiking trails for the fall foliage.
We prefer the place reachable through public transport from NYC (bus, train). The trails shouldn't be too rocky and dangerous. Took a look at some trails on All Trails for Cold Spring and Beacon but I'm not sure if the fall foliage is peak that weekend.
We aren't familiar with this, as we've never done a fall trip before. Any suggestions, tips, experience and information are appreciated!! Thank you! πππ
