When we arrived at our first accommodation on the island of Crete, we were greeted by a beautiful plant, Strelizia, also called Bird of Paradise. Its flower really does resemble a bird.
In our country, you can only find such flowers at the flower shop.

Hello! 🌸 What a lovely welcome to Crete! The Strelitzia, also known as the Bird of Paradise, is such a fascinating and elegant flower, nature really creates the most amazing designs. 🌺 It must have been a wonderful surprise to see it blooming there instead of only in a flower shop. In Mauritius it's growing almost everywhere. Enjoy every beautiful moment of your island adventure! ☀️✨
