Would you change the color of these hardwood floors? 1970s Texas House
First time home buyers here, we have just purchased a house built in the 1970s with original floors and wanted to change the floor color via refinishing the hardwood. The issue is that the rooms of the house look very distinct and we're having trouble picking a color that works for everything. I don't actually mind the current color too much, but feel like it's a little bit too red/orange.
We wanted to go with a natural looking Light Brown https://forestrytimber.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Ballenas-Room-500x750.jpg , but feel like this won't match the office space at all.
If anyone has any recommendations for something that goes well with all the rooms, or any other recommendations unrelated to the floors, we're all ears!
