I thought Norway was expensive till I went to Switzerland...
Cable Car up Mount Pilatus £60 return
Fondu for two plus steamed veg and ginger beer for two: circa £90. tip 5%. (hotel adler, old town Zurich)
two margaritas, one non-alcoholic and a small bowl of pork wirh guacamole/ handful of tortillas at a Mexican place: £55, no tip. ZURICH.
Spaghetti for two in Zurich plus a salad starter we shared: £66
Quite off putting to return with these sky high prices. I think the cable car is the most shocking as eating out is more a luxury
Stein Am Rhein was also pricey I guess because it's not quite in Germany!!! £48 for two pad thais and two iced teas
