DPS School Choice Waitlist

Trying to get into kindergarten, and my child was waitlisted for our neighborhood school. #18 on the list.

Seems crazy to be that far down the waitlist for our neighborhood school that was our #1 choice.

Does anyone have experience getting into their top school after being that low on the waitlist?
