Booking.com deceptive reviews
I booked one night at a hotel in Bucharest through booking.com . Almost 2000 reviews with a 9.3 star rating. Glad I only stayed there one night. The bathroom was swarming with cockroaches.
I left a one star review describing the roach problem.
Just checked my review and the one star review is there but everything I wrote is gone and replaced with one word- "bad".
Is this normal for Booking?
For reference, I usually don't book on third party sites but there was no other option for this hotel.
UPDATE: I sent a message to Booking customer service demanding an explanation why my review was edited. They said they'd get back to me in 24 hours. I just checked my review and now it's up in its entirety. Hmmm...
