A few years ago we drove to Mea Hongsohn to a village called Baan Rak Thai. It is a Chinese village. It is right on the border of Burma. The temples here are Chinese, the food Chinese, and the architecture Chinese. The primary product is Tea. And there are many tea shops. It was a lovely quiet village, And the most adorable part was the name. The name of the Village means Village Loves Thai.
