- 4.5 years in the hobby
I love all aspects of board games - playing, teaching the rules to my friends, reading up on the rules, reading reviews, watching YouTube playthroughs, rearranging my Kallax shelf to fit the games more space-efficiently, punching out the tokens from cardboards, sleeving the cards, printing and laminating player aids and fan made content, 3D printing inserts and other board game related items, etc. In short, I’m a board game fanatic and proud of it!

* **Time in hobby:**
4.5 Years
I’ve been seriously into the board gaming hobby ever since the holiday season of 2018, even though I played Catan, Carcassone, etc. during college in early 00s
My regular gaming group consists of my wife and neighbors/friends at least once a week (Friday or Saturday nights). In addition to that, my wife and I play roughly twice during week nights. My 9 year old has also started playing some games with us.
I play solo if my wife doesn’t feel like playing during week nights.

* **What would you change about your collection?**
Not much. I have a collection that I curated carefully based on both mine and my groups’ tastes.
I went on a buying spree during my first two years in the hobby. I bought \~100 games (base only) during that period.
My purchases have slowed down considerably in the last couple of years.

* **My Favorite Games:**
Brass (both Birmingham and Lancashire), Concordia, A Feast for Odin, Great Western Trail, and Agricola are in my top-5.
They are followed by: Bora Bora, Gaia Project, Orleans, Kanban EV, Grand Austria Hotel, Troyes, Hansa Teutonica, Keyflower, Barrage, Nusfjord, Obsession, Fields of Arle, Anno 1800, Marco Polo II, The Castles of Burgundy, Dune Imperium, Five Tribes, The Quest for El Dorado, Inis, War of the Ring, Istanbul.
As you could see, I tend to favor midweight and heavy Euros.

Carnegie (Simple solo), Glen More II, Tiletum, Ready Set Bet (Such a blast of a party game!), Ra Deluxe Ed. (worth the wait), Champions of Midgard (Fun with dice rolling & worker placement), Ultimate Railroads.

I have Nusfjord Big Box on preorder. I sold my copy of Nusfjord when I heard the Big Box version was coming out soon (I miss that Uwe!). I will definitely purchase Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Ark Nova: Marine Worlds and Carnegie: Expansion when the they hit the US shores. Waiting for El Grande’s reprint.
