YSK that if you have been peeing frequently recently, like every 2 hours after drinking water, you may have dangerously high blood sugar levels and should check your blood sugar ASAP
Some people are saying "but I've been peeing constantly for a long time". The title is talking about a sudden increase recently for at least a week while water consumption is the same. Then you should be concerned something is wrong.
Why YSK: If your blood sugar is too high for a long time, you may go into a severe condition called diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). You can lose 10+ pounds in a month as you become severely dehydrated as your body tries to pee out the excess glucose, also resulting in your blood volume decreasing. Water may taste bitter because your body can't use blood glucose for energy so it starts breaking down fat for energy, releasing a molecule called ketones in your bloodstream. Due to the ketones, your blood turns acidic. I was in the ICU for a day because my blood sugar was high for a month without me knowing why, I thought it was a overactive bladder. Then one day I woke up dizzy and couldn't walk straight and went to the ER. Turns out I had diabetes, type 1. 90% of my pancreas's insulin cells killed by my immune cells so I can't make much insulin.
Also make sure you get annual blood tests so this and other problems can be caught early on.
