Handyman hired someone else for the job I hired him to do
I hired a handyman to demo a deck and pour a concrete patio
He demo the deck (with hired help) then hired another group to do the concrete patio.
I paid him half for the deck job, then today he told me to pay the other half to the concrete people. Then the concrete people asked me for more money and I told them that's the other half I agree on with the Handyman and they should be asking him for the rest. They say they understand.
No drama yet, but I just find this amusing and thought I share.
The patio is nice, but the demo job is well a demo job. Satisfaction 8/10. I have to do some cleanup in the yard before it's nice because of the demo job left debrie and some trash and the overall layout was already messy before. Just waiting for the concrete to cure
