Scarpa Rapid XT Approach or Merrell Moab 3 for Hiking
My current hiking shoes are The North Face Vectiv Fastpack Futurelight https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/p/futurelight-540773/mens-vectiv-fastpack-woven-futurelight-shoes-NF0A5LX5 , and we are not getting on. Looking through my shoe collection, I found an older pair of Scarpa Approach shoes, which I stopped wearing for some reason (maybe because the sole was getting worn down), yet I always found them really comfortable; well, I think so ... memory not so good.
I know this is hard to judge, but if you are a Merrell Moab 3 wearer, do you find them a firm, supportive fit for your size? The North Face Vectiv Fastpack do not tick that box for me.
