I imagined meeting a traveler from the 1800s and introducing them to a drone. I explained that it is a small flying machine powered by invisible energy instead of wind or muscles. Unlike a bird, it has spinning blades that lift it into the air, and unlike a balloon, it can move in any direction whenever a person controls it from the ground. I also shared how people use drones today to explore places, inspect buildings, help during emergencies, and capture amazing views from the sky.
