I'm a fairly handy DIY guy and I've taken on pretty much all the jobs in the house and "YouTube certified". lol
I've watched several DIY HVAC replacements and they seem fairly straight forward with the right research, prep work and tools. However, the new R-454B units don't have as much content online for DIY installs. I know the is a concern with the flammability of the refrigerant.
My question is, is this still DIY friendly? Can a home owner even purchase the tools and refrigerant needed anymore? The steps of the process don't seem to have changed too much. #home source
