First time Vietnam
Hi everyone,
I’m planning my first trip to Northern Vietnam and will have about 2 weeks.
I’m looking for places that are genuinely beautiful and memorable, especially hidden gems that are known more through word of mouth than social media. I don’t mind visiting a few famous spots, but I’m much more interested in authentic experiences, nature, local culture, and places that aren’t overrun by tourism.
I’m not looking for the typical Instagram or TikTok itinerary. I’d love recommendations from people who have explored beyond the usual tourist route.
If you had 2 weeks in Northern Vietnam, where would you go and what would you skip?
