Made these translucent resin flowers
I've been experimenting with resin flowers recently and finally finished this little set.
The process was a lot of trial and error:
1. Started by preparing the flower molds and pouring the resin carefully.
2. Added different shades of pigment to create the transparent petal effect.
3. Demolded each piece slowly and cleaned up the edges.
4. Put the individual petals together to create the final flower shape.
The hardest part was keeping the petals clear while still getting enough color depth. I really wanted them to have that glass-like look instead of looking too cloudy.
For the curing step, I used the Resiners G3 curing machine to help keep the curing process more consistent, especially with these smaller pieces and multiple layers.
Still learning with every resin project, but I'm really happy with how these turned out. Thinking about trying a larger flower arrangement next time
