Aunty No. 1 was a 1998 Bollywood action-comedy directed by Kirti Kumar.
It was based on the popular Marathi stage play Moruchi Maushi (Mor's Aunt), which was written and directed by Acharya Atre.
The plot follows a good-hearted man named Gopi (played by Govinda), who dresses up as an elderly woman to help his friends.
However, his plan goes haywire when "Aunty" becomes a local sensation and attracts multiple romantic suitors.
