The story follows Captain Colter Stevens, a soldier who wakes up in the body of another man on a commuter train moments before it is destroyed by a bomb. Through an experimental program called Source Code, he is repeatedly sent back into the final eight minutes before the explosion to identify the bomber and prevent another attack. After a political trip to Moscow, terrorists hijack Air Force One, the presidential aircraft, and take everyone on board hostage. Refusing to escape, the President secretly remains on the plane and fights back to protect his family, passengers, and country. The film is packed with suspense, action, and intense airborne confrontations, making it one of the most popular plane-set thrillers of the 1990s.
The Transporter (2002) is a high-octane action-thriller film about Frank Martin (played by Jason Statham), a hyper-disciplined, ex-Special Forces operative who works as a mercenary driver in the south of France, delivering high-stakes cargo with zero questions asked
Duel was originally released as a television film in 1971 and later received a theatrical release in some countries. Duel is a suspense thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. The story follows a traveling salesman driving through the desert who becomes the target of a mysterious tanker truck driver. What begins as a minor road incident turns into a terrifying game of cat and mouse as the truck relentlessly pursues him. With minimal dialogue and constant tension, the film is widely regarded as one of the best road thrillers ever made and helped launch Spielberg's career.
The Girl on the Train (2016) directed by Tate Taylor When you take the train to work every day, you end up seeing pieces of other people’s lives through that window. You watch them day after day, twice a day, on your way there and on your way back. Here we have a stunning Emily Blunt, who shines in the role of a woman who takes the train every day to get to work. From the window, she becomes obsessed with a seemingly perfect couple living near the tracks, using their imagined happiness to escape from her own life falling apart. The film uses the train as a key setting, a small, steady space that reflects the protagonist’s trapped mindset and her voyeuristic obsession. Emily Blunt delivers a strong performance in this psychological thriller. An absolute must watch!
It's a disaster thriller movie set on a train. It's a story of the train passengers that got exposed to a deadly disease by an infected passenger. When the government knew about it, everyone on board was quarantined and it was also rerouted to pass the unsafe Cassandra Crossing bridge. As the passengers learned the truth, they struggled to save themselves. Some tried to stop the train before it reached the bridge but many died when part of the train got over the collapsing bridge.
Almost all the scene shot inside the train. The movie was full of fun and action. Chennai is a state in India and here Chennai Express is a train and railway station where the story begin. Gradually the story turn into a love story. Watch the trailer and you can see the scenes of this movie. Most of the scene inside train or railway station.
Movies: set on trains, trucks or planes. ✈️ UNITED 93 ( 2006 ) A gripping and emotional drama based on true events. The film follows the passengers and crew aboard United Airlines Flight 93 during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Set almost entirely inside the aircraft it portrays their courage, unity and determination in the face of unimaginable danger. A powerful tribute to ordinary people who showed extraordinary bravery.
My movie pick is Red Eye, a thrilling suspense movie that takes place mostly on a nighttime flight. The story follows a woman who meets a charming stranger at the airport, only to discover during the flight that he has dangerous intentions. Trapped on the plane, she must find a way to outsmart him and protect her family.
I enjoyed this movie because it is fast-paced, full of tension, and keeps you guessing until the very end. The confined airplane setting adds to the suspense, making it a perfect choice for this challenge.
