. It sucks because you need money and land for that. Which the average person is running low on the first and doesnt have the second. Eventually there will be no outside of this. Once the data centers go up then we can say goodbye to the small amount of privacy we have left.

Well, you can just pack your backpack with the essentials and disappear into the woods.
However, you then have the problem of being exposed to extreme temperatures (last night, for example, it was -7 degrees Celsius or more over here). If you can't find a hut and make a fire, you'll probably freeze to death... 

 With every digital step you take, you have to think about the trail you're leaving behind. Whether you can cover your tracks.
And not every app needs to know your location—there are special bags for smartphones that cut off all external connections. That way, you can have it with you and it definitely won't send anything.
