♫♪ Pa pa pa pa, pa-pa pa pa pa, pa pa pa pa paaaaa ... ♫
One of the original bad boys of the bass guitar. The one, the only, DANNY PARTRIDGE! 👏🙌🎉 We see him here laying down the boogie with his Fender Mustang while sister Tracy frantically wails away on the tambourine in the background, she was always so enthusiastic. 😂
Helpful tip: While searching for Danny Partridge pictures, I learned that you can buy one of these 1971 Topps Trading cards for about three bucks on eBay. 😀 Pairs nicely with the Holy Grail Partridge Family Screen Gems Records Collection for a mere $300,000. 🤔 That's actually a great deal considering he originally had it listed at a million dollars, for years. 😳
But I digress, this post is about Danny. Thank you for influencing many young aspiring bass players, me included. And to you naysayers who are going to say, " Yeah, but they weren't really playing ," 🙄 that's okay, back then my bass was a broom. 😜🧹
The fact of the matter, shows like the Partridge Family and the Monkees really did influence many young kids to pick up guitars/basses/drums/mics/keyboards/tambourines and learn to make their own music. Again, me included. 😃🎸
Rock on Danny Partridge. I think I Love You , I Can Feel Your Heatbeat and, oh yeah, can you Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque ? And one more thing.......settle down Tracy! 😂
