Hiking Picos de Europa in October?

Hard no or maybe? I want to do hut to hut, from my research, the huts are actually open, but how is the weather? Anyone went for longer hikes this late in the season? I'm only considering it, so far I think it's a 'no' but maybe someone has actually done it and has better insights?
